The Berkeley River has
been our favourite river, and best kept secret, for many years with 11 miles of a navigable and beautiful river gorge, great
bush walks, swimming holes and waterfalls. The miles of white sandy beaches at the mouth are a shell collectors fantasy
and the bounty of fish and mud crab from the river will delight .
Rest at anchor six miles inside the King George
River at the base of the sheer 80 metre twin waterfalls. Walk to the top for the fantastic views, a picnic
lunch and enjoy the fresh water swimming or shower beneath the falls in comfort and safety aboard our sturdy runabouts.
Imagine relaxing at night after a sumptuous dinner watching millions of stars reflected in the calm waters or the cliffs
reflected in the river with a full moon.
This exciting Kimberley cruise begins and finishes with scenic flight transfers between Lake Kununurra and Opal Shell, at anchor deep in the heart of the rugged Kimberley wilderness, giving a fantastic overview of the East Kimberley Coast.
